Being more aware of the present moment, including your thoughts and feelings, your body and the world around you is essential for good wellbeing. Some of the wellbeing activities below will allow you take notice of your own mental wellbeing, use the booking form to book on as many of the activities as you are able to attend:

WALKING FOOTBALL NUFC FOUNDATION

Where: Meet at Wellbeing Hub

When: Thursday - 08:00 – 08:40

What: Start your day off with some gentle activity by joining NUFC for a game of walking football. You do not need to break a sweat to get your step count up, so why not challenge your fellow festival goers to a game? All abilities are welcome for this beginner’s session.

When: Thursday - 09:45 – 16:00

What: When was the last time you really had a look at your own physical health? Book an appointment for one of our NHS Health MOTs to find out your body fat, blood pressure, cholesterol level and more and get some advice on any lifestyle changes you might need to make based on your results. What: Join Connect for this fun and informative session featuring tips and exercises on how to improve your musculoskeletal wellbeing and your mental health. Guaranteed to get you off your seat and joining in this class is suitable for all abilities and will give you plenty tips to get you sitting less and moving more.

MIND PLAY WITH JOHN SUNDERLAND WRIGHT

What: You may recognise John from his fabulous food demo on Wednesday lunchtime, but on Thursday he is joining us to show you the true power of mindfulness and controlling your mind, giving you the chance to control gadgets and technology using the power of your mind. BURN OUT RESCUE WORKSHOP

Where: Wellbeing Tent

When: Thursday - 17:00 – 18:00

What: Constant physical and emotional exhaustion, irregular sleep patterns, irritability, highly susceptible to common colds ... these symptoms could suggest when you are on the road to burnout.
