Previous festivals

We’ve been running our Innovation Festivals since 2017 and in those four years we’ve covered so much ground.

For those who appreciate a stat or two, check these out: 

• Over 9,500 people have attended our Innovation Festivals over the years.
• From more than 37 countries.
• They represent 2,284 different organisations, companies and businesses.
• Including 29 other water companies.
• 173 sponsors have partnered with us to help deliver the previous events.
• And have supported us to run 87 different sprints, dashes and hacks.
• 40 universities across the country have taken part in previous festivals
• And more than 2,500 school pupils have also taken been involved in Festival STEAM activities.
• During the 2020 Innovation Festival we became the third biggest user of the MIRO online whiteboard software IN THE WORLD!
• Social media messaging about our Innovation Festivals has reached more then 15m people!
• We are currently working on, and progressing 150 ideas that were created at our festivals
