We will use the Innovation Festival 2024 to develop a long term collaboration to monitor the state of the Ouseburn, which will allow different stakeholders and communities to gather data to inform and encourage activities and prove the impact of improvements to the river’s health.
This 4 day YWWIW challenge is taking place at Newcastle Racecourse and may be of interest to people living in the Ouseburn who want to act to improve the river, businesses in the Ouseburn who care about their local environment, stakeholders who can influence environmental investment and change and anyone interested in monitoring approaches for rivers and catchment.
How might we collaborate across the catchment to implement a comprehensive, sustainable monitoring plan for the Ouseburn that inspires everyone to improve the health of the river?
