Utilising advances in Generative AI to improve water treatment processes and consideration of the key requirements for successful implementation

This sprint is taking place at Newcastle Racecourse 8 - 11 July

This sprint is taking place at Newcastle Racecourse over four days. It may be of interest to Water treatment works Managers & Operators, Water Quality, H&S, Operational Technology, Process Engineers, Suppliers, Finance / Procurement.

In today’s digital world, agility and scalability has become the DeFacto. There is more and more focus on automation using artificial intelligence, analytical modelling and machine learning.  With GenAI’s arrival, the potential now exists to make the major leap from a data-driven to a knowledge-driven enterprise.

We will be exploring what is possible with GenAI & understand the challenges to implementation within the Water Industry.  This will be carried out by looking as specific processes within Water Treatment.  How can GenAI:

  • Enhance efficiency & effectiveness for chemical dosing, e.g. coagulants?
  • Help optimise filter health for more efficient & sustainable operations?

Through the Sprint, we would aim to detail and granularize the problem statement(s), define metrics and KPI’s to track and report post the final model deployment, discuss and agree on the right “data” to support and come up with the “best solution” approach.

We are very excited to participate and lead on this disruptive sprint topic and would look forward to your presence to help shape this up.

Registration for this sprint, has now closed.
